Laura Polko has been a hair stylist since graduating from cosmetology school at the Aveda Institute in 2006. She began her career working primarily in salons, including Ted Gibson and Pipino Salon.  After living in downtown New York and spending some time around the young, fun, creative energy that surrounds her, Laura began to focus on freelance session styling by doing fashion, editorial, celebrity, and advertising work. Laura has worked on New York Fashion Week for many years as part of a team and also as the lead stylist. Other recent styling work includes music videos for Justin Timberlake's “Mirrors” and Beyonce’s “Pretty Hurts.” Her editorial work covers Rolling Stone MagazineGalore, Teen Vogue, Glamour, Marie Claire, among others, while some of her celebrity clients have included Josh Groban, Harvey Kietel, Ke$ha, Demi Lavato, Havana Brown, Shenae Grimes, and Hannah Bronfman. Lastly, Laura's portfolio also includes advertising work and campaigns for Wildfox, Saks Fifth Avenue, J. Crew, Ikea, Alloy, and many others.
